Jesus Christ On A Popsicle Stick
And I mean that in a NON-sacreligious way.
Life sucks. Our entire family is in the middle of an Event that I can't talk too much about right now for several reasons. Number one, it's still going on and will be going on for quite some time. Number two, it's WAY too personal- tears and stress and fears, bad bad fears. And C, I don't know the total outcome yet. Let me say this though- it involves dire medical straits; I am back here at home with family, still pregnant; my husband in still 100 miles away in another town, in a hospital.
Needless to say, everything is kind of- hectic right now. No one is getting a lot of sleep. I have finally stopped crying every time I turn around.
Maybe more later.

Man It Has Been A While- Again
First of all, thanks to all of you who actually READ this blog o' mine. It's nice to know that other people might find me interesting : )
In case no one has noticed, and I wouldn't blame you, I DID post the 3rd chapter of my EPIC mini-novel on the forums. Bigger than the other two chapters, and STILL no one gets eaten! That will change ; )
I tried to get the radeon video card (a 7500 SE or whaddevva it is) that I have in my OLD computer to work in my NEW computer, but I dunno what the hell the problem is. Of course, in my manual for the card it says to uninstall any video drivers, and uninstall EVERY OTHER piece of software that installs codecs. Fuck. this is an OEM version of winxp home, and it bundles an abortload of software with it. DVD players, etc. and I have installed an abortload* of software that plays video, and I RILLY don't want to have to uninstall everything...
Anyway, the problem is that i can't seem to uninstall the video stuff that comes with the computer- not through add/remove, or third party programs, and when I uninstall through the device manager it STILL don't uninstall. So again, when I boot up with the new card in, the machine boots up normal, enters the desktop in 640*400 resolution, blinks the screen a couple of times, then BLINK the whole screen goes black, I get the cursor blinking in the top left corner, the cdrom/dvd drives go silent, and the hard drive goes quiet.
That's scary : )
So shuckleduckle. Stuck. So I'll try and fix all that later. Still though, for the most part the built-in video works fine.

And Here Is The Counter! (EDIT)
Mostly just wanted to say "Hi!" to evvybody. And sorry for the cutesy misspellings that i sometimes do. I hate it when other people do it, so I can only imagine how much YOU dislike when I do it : )
Still haven't finished my 3rd chapter yet of my EPIC mini-novel. My cold is still killing me, my pregnancy is proceeding and I gotta tell you, I HATE vomiting but I sure am getting used to it again. This time my pregnancy is KILLING me. Well, not literally, but man. I'll be glad when this kid is OUT of me.
This new computer is STILL great tho I need new video cards for it and the other computer which I am going to turn into a win98 machine IF/WHEN i get a video card that will work in it : | The weird thing is, on the old computer, if I use winxp, the video card and the audio card get along together fine. If I use win98, THEN the two cards fight and there's an IRQ conflict and i can have video but NO sound. Fuckers.
Anyways. Still trying to get together more of my old stuff to out up on my website. Check it out from the links below : )

And Along Came A Fat Snake With A Woman In It's Tummy
I just wanted to start this entry with a happy, friendly title. Sexy, too. Anyway.
It's been some time since I've done an entry. I Am Not Dead! Just very busy. One of the things that happened was last Monday we got me a new compooter with our tax refund money! Wow! : ) In some ways it's great- it a Compaq Presario Athlon XP 2800+ 2.06 ghz with 512 megs RAM, and a 100 gig HD. That's the part that rules. The part that doesn't is the video (built in, takes 64 megs from the RAM and the accelleration is built in... Morrowind doesn't look good or play well with it, but Dungeon Siege RULES), and the sound... well, i've had to go from (oooh!) 4.1 sound, two front speakers, two rear speakers, and a subwoofer, to... well, basic and simple Left Right stereo. Righto.
Oh, and Rudy got me a Tungsten E Palm PDA. He's a nice man- I love him.
I have not stopped working on my EPIC mini-novel. I'm almost done with chapter 3 although it's been nearly a month. Oy vey. And I hope to actually update my site to add the first two chapters to it. Yay.
And, of course, my 17 month old baby daughter is INSANE. Yesterday i nearly died trying to keep her from destroying the house and herself, and I think SHE won...
And why, WHY, did Rudy and I decide it would be a great idea to have another child?? : )
