I have been getting 'scripts for painkillers on a '2 days' basis with no refills, and no words from the docs on making a new appt. Well, I've seen over the past couple of weeks: 1 doc, another doc, the first doc again, my primary doc, then ANOTHER doc. When I went in today and got another '2 day' pain 'script, i went politely ballistic in their office. This has been fucking ridiculous- I keep getting pain perscriptions for 2 days and apparently the docs think I'm suddenly going to magically have no more pain. But guess what- this has been going on for WEEKS with me in pain and it's not going to MAGICALLY get better in 2 days just because I got ANOTHER 2 day perscription for pain meds. I stated all this and more, VERY politely mind you, but this and more and the nurse got all wide eyed and went back to speak with the doc, etc etc etc.

I have a CT scan tomorrow, then another appt. with my doc after that to discuss the CT scan.

Being a bitch gets results, sometimes. I keep forgetting this- I have zero 'assertion' skills, a result of almost zero self esteem. It is possible to be assertive without being aggressive, and I actually managed to do that today.

Last night I went to bed at 7 p.m. because I felt so bad. When Rudy came to bed at 9 p.m. I was FREEZING. When I asked for extra blankets, he took off the covers to add some fleecy blankets over me and I STARTED TO CRY because I was so cold. I didn't CHOOSE to cry- no, my BODY started to cry without my choosing.

At midnight last night my temp spiked to 101.9 F. This is bad, btw. Right now, 8 a.m. the next morning, I'm at 98.6 F but I feel like my entire body has been beat with baseball bats.

I rilly don't know what is happening in my body, but this is getting FUCKING SERIOUS.

But that ain't necessarily BETTER. We know my gallbladder is fine. Great. We also now know that I don't have any hepatituses. Which I also knew before, but best to be on the safe side rather than the "dead" side.

However, I am in a GREAT amount of pain and requiring steady refills of prescription pain meds. Which sucks bad. This "stand back and watch" approach is HORRIBLE.

So life sucks. I haven't even been playing GAMES recently, i have so much pain.

I hate life.

And that makes me sad. I had the ultrasound of my gallbladder, and it's great. wonderful, even. There's some fatty deposits in my liver, to be expected after my 23 years of active alcoholism. My kidneys are fine. In all, my innards, in the upper right quadrant of my abdomen, are fine. Great even.

Fuck all. I'm in pain whenever I exert myself (such as carrying anything like my baby, or laundry) and I don't know why. It's not in my head- I have the blood test results to prove that. And it's Thursday night, and I bet I don't have enough pain meds to last me the weekend. And our health insurance means we have a $15 co-pay each time I see the doctor. And to get a refill on pain meds, if I need them, will mean another doctors appt. Which we can't afford.

Fuck all.

My gallbladderitis is getting bad. I will even tell you my test results, for that is the kind of girl I am.

My cholesterol count is 264. That's not because of the gallbladder, I just thought I'd mention how horrible it is. My Triglycerides are 759. Let me put that in perspective. Anything over 100 is considered high. And I am 659 points above THAT. My liver enzymes are SGOT=49, SGPT=89. The SGOT is high if it is over 37, and the SGPT is high if it is over 50.

Those two blood readings are indicative of gallbladderitis. Plus the pain in my upper right abdomen, the pain that radiates through to my mid-back and my upper shoulders and neck, the feelings of being SICK, and such.

All of which means I am going to have to have my gallbladder torn out soon, I betcha, and that's going to cost us $1500 after insurance deductibles which means we are going to be declaring bankruptcy soon, I believe.

I may be getting my gallbladder pulled out of my body in the near future. Like we can afford it. Like we can afford it if I DIE because we don't take care of it.

Becuase we took me to the doctor today- massive pain, couldn't sleep at ALL last night, hard to breathe, etc etc etc. We're doing tests and getting procedures done, but even the doc thinks it's gallbladderitis.

That's what we're here for- to be eaten by snakes. My philospohy, anyway.

Because of my and Rudy's physical conditions, I have being playing a lot of computer games of late, along with not sleeping because of pain while I am lying in bed. Anyways. I tend to play, predominantly, two types of games. First person shooters are usually at the top of the list. And Role Playing Games.

I've been plsying this one RPG called 'Soulbringer' for a time now, and I have sadly reached a point where I cannot play the game during the daytime. I am in a sewer, there are no lights, and it's bloody dark. Even with my monitor brightness turned all the way up, I cannot see a bloody thing.

During the day. At night, everything shows up a lot better, so I can now play the game for about 2 hours a day MAXIMUM, while I am trying to do everything else in the household. Which means that once again I have invested a TON of time and effort into a game, and now I can't play it/finish it.

Sigh.

And we have ants in the house, and we have been STRUGGLING to get rid of the fuckers. No luck so far. We don't have it as bad as the next door neighbor- they are apparfently being SWARMED with ants. Terrible. We just have them everywhere in the kitchen and dinish room- which is where I have my computer WorkStation, so I have ants running around on the table, and occasionally on the keyboard and running INTO the keyboard!

Argh.

Joy and thrills at the Van Dycken household. JESUS, it never stops. I'm sick as a dog, my back is worse than BEFORE I had my nerves Burned For Science, I'm switching antidepressants so right now there is Death Behind My Eyes when you look at me (an absolute horror of depression), Rudy keeps gettings Signs and Symptoms of congestive heart failure. We have no money, we have 3 children that are GROWING before our very eyes...

And people wonder why I can't get up the enthusiasm to write vore stories. Let me tell you, if I could get up the enthusiasm to write vore stories, I'd use that energy to cut my throat first.

It's just that much fun being ME when I'm depressed, I tell you.

Anyway, on the BRIGHT side of life : ) I actually AM thinking of Vore all the time (as well as progressing (in my head) quite well on the non-vore BREAKOUT novel that is going to put my name on the bookshelves at your local Barnes & Noble...

And, using the power of the DOSBOX program, I am able to play 10 year old DOS games on my winxp home computer. NOW what will I do with the TWO win98 computers I have sitting at my workstation? I have more space for computers and monitors on my workstation than I do for people : ) ESPECIALLY since I set the Dreamcast next to my feet and hooked it up to the portable DVD player I won a few months back. It's VIDEO and COMPUTER heaven here. I feel like a redneck the way I keep capitalising all my words.

Oh well. Just wanted to drop in and set a post to let people know I ain't dead.
