The Life Of Mama Snake
Wow, lots of things going on my life.
First some of the good: back in November, a hamster we had bought our son had gotten loose in his room. We spent the next few weeks actively searching for the hamster. Then we spent another few weeks off and on searching for the hamster, looking for the body. Then we gave up on the hamster, thinking we would find the dried out fuzzy corpse when it was summer time. Then, last week, when I was walking down the stairs, I happened to look downward and there, sitting on his hind legs and looking somewhat grey from all the dust in his fur, was the hamster! I quickly captured the beast (even with a badly hurt back and being so pregnant, I am STILL the Lord of Hamsters : ) and now he is back in his cage where he belongs!
The bad: I had another steroid epidural because of my back injury and it hurts a lot. I hate these things, but they are for the best- we are working through our options to try and fix me up. Each step we take this way gets me closer to, if not being "fixed", at least to a level where I can live my life and not have it be dominated by pain. Pain sucks, unless you are masochistic, in which it is the closest thing to heaven. But I am not a masochist, I hate pain.
As such, I haven't actually been writing for the past week, I've been dealing with life and pain and issues. So there we go. I hope to write more soon and all, but stick with me- for those of you who know me, you know I have made it through worse times! For those of you who don't, well, I have made it through worse times! : )
