Today is the morning of the 12th of March, 2004. Had to specify the eyar in case you became confused. Anyway, yesterday we travelled back down to Seattle and PICKED UP RUDY AND BROUGHT HIM HOME. Not only is he past the "critical zone" but he is home where he belongs! He's on a lot of meds and very severe restrictions for a time, and soon he has to go back for a procedure that should sustain him until he needs his heart valves replaced but that is many years from now (Iat least 2 or 3).

I had been spending a lot of the past 3 (approx) weeks absolitely terrified and our entire family has been paralyzed. Now tho we are all a lot better, Rudy especially!! and that's a GREAT thing!!

Hasn't stopped me from using the keyboard tho : ) but I've been sitting next to him as much as I can while he rests.

You cannot KNOW how happy I am right now!! And you cannot KNOW how irritated Rudy is- he's on a TON of Lasix, a diuretic, and he doesn't have a nurse to empty his urinakl any more- he has to get up and WALK to the bathroom : ) But I am ECSTATIC he can getup and walk again!!!
