We almost had to send Rudy to the hospital AGAIN the other day. He's getting vancomycin at home via PICC line, and it was building to toxic levels and causing kidney failure. So he was throwing up and unable to do anything. We're holding the vanco in the hopes that as his levels fall, his kidney function will be restored. It Never Fucking Ends.

On MY side of the day, I had my back procedure done today- Radio Frequency Rhizotomy. They BURNED my sensory nerves For Science today. Oy. Supposed to hurt for the next few days, get better for a few days, then peak and get VERY bad at the 7 to 10 day range. It should take about a month and a half before my body settles down and we see the full results, pain relief wise, from the procedure. But if things go well, I should be experiencing about a 50% pain reduction in my chronic pain.

That's cool.

So it'll still be a few before I get back totally into the swing of things and get some stories written. Please forgive me. These stories will occur.
